Organic search is only accounting for 4% of my traffic so it looks like the social-media promotion is paying off!

  1. Hi Mindy,
Your site is doing well and am glad that you still got 71 visitors from JustRetweet, isn’t that amazing? Do you know that JustRetweet is just 38days old but still doing well!

Thanks for your awesome support and looking forward for your next report!

  2. Mindy,

    Hip-hip-hooray for social media!

I was surprised to see your organic search statistic. But however it comes is AOK.

    Thanks for sharing! :)

  3. this is pretty great i must say! your social marketing strategy is working

  4. You can add blog commenting as another referral source. I actually found your blog through a comment who left on Gail’s Grow Map blog. Very interesting concept for your blog. I have been using a more balanced approach and get a lot of search engine (Google) traffic but I can definitely use more from the social channels. I will checking back for more tips and to see how you are progressing.

  5. I am seeing good number here! For a blog that is 48 days old to have 1963 visits is not bad. No, it’s actually awesome! It’s really amazing how social media can help generate traffic to blogs. No wonder why marketers rate is as one of the most effective tools in marketing.

  6. Almost everyone has an account with at least one of several social media platforms these days. And creating an experiment like this is really wise. I can see great numbers, you’re surely going to encourage a valuable amount of people to use the social media as a tool for marketing and networking.

  7. Very informative. I’m just entering my first experiment with an online businesses (yes, I woke up and realized it was 2012) and was very interested to read and see the traffic effects from social media, not something that is easily quantifiable when you are working on your own, but great to see how it’s working for others. And, on top of that, thanks for pointing me towards bizsugar, had never heard fo them before, but looks like it might be a really good network to get involved in.
